Proof of the Pudding, an Atlanta-based catering company since 1979, announces the addition of regional executive chef Chris Buffin.
Chef Buffin brings along with him over 20 years of experience across kitchens on both the east and west coasts. After graduating from the Art Institute of California with a degree in culinary arts, Buffin began working at fine dining establishments and country clubs in San Diego.
From there, Buffin worked his way up to executive chef before moving across the country in 2019 to Atlanta. He served as the executive chef at Emory University, managing a $30 million food service operation at 15 campus locations before founding his own company, Swell Cuts.
Buffin leveraged his years of culinary experience and crafted a series of services including: private chef experiences, knife sharpening, burger pop-ups, custom woodwork projects and more.
“Gaining an incredible leader like Chris, alongside his modern techniques that transform more traditional dishes and flavors, is exactly what we need on our team” says Adam Noyes, President of Proof of the Pudding.
As the new regional executive chef for Proof of the Pudding, Buffin is set to oversee operations at Douglasville Conference Center and The Carter Center.
