
Located at Ponce City Market, City Winery Atlanta reopened with new Executive Chef Will Artley.
Artley earned his Associates’s Degree from the Culinary Institute of America where he also received certification in artisan bread making.
He previously served as Executive Chef for Evening Star Cafe and Pizzeria Orso in Washington D.C. He was also a guest chef at the White House and has held an Executive Chef position with restaurants such as BLT Steak, Nonna’s Kitchen, Hilton Garden Inn, and Scott’s restaurant.
Artley is on the Board of Advisors for NRG non-profit group, Arcadia and accepted an invitation to be Chair Chef for the Liver Foundation. He has worked with Healthy Cooking for Kids and Adults that focused on educating local low-income families on the importance of healthy cooking and eating. In addition, Artley worked with First Lady Michelle Obama on the national “Chefs on the Move” project.
During dinner service at City Winery, Executive Chef Artley will introduce new dishes alongside City Winery staples, such as Fried Green Tomato (fried green tomato with pimento cheese and tomato jam) and Steak Frites (hanger steak with a garlic and herb rub served with herb fries and tarragon and duck fat compound butter).
