Locally owned Loyal Market Concept partners have transformed their Loyal Q and Brew into a second metro-Atlanta location of Loyal Tavern in East Cobb. The restaurant offers a sports bar atmosphere and a menu with elevated tavern-style food, a craft beer program and an extensive bourbon and whiskey selection.
“With our first location thriving in downtown Roswell, adding a second location in Marietta seemed like a perfect fit for the community,” says Ben Miller, Loyal Tavern managing partner.
Loyal Tavern’s approachable and diverse menu offers everything from jumbo wings and sandwiches to salads and larger entrées. Some menu include:
• Bar bites and shareables including pork cracklins, fried pickle chips, beer-battered cheese curds and devilish eggs
• Jumbo wings, deep fried and tossed in one of seven house-made sauces or rubs and served with celery and carrots and choice of house-made garlic Ranch or blue cheese dressings
• Tacos – chopped brisket, hand-battered cod and grilled shrimp served à la carte or on a taco plate of three
• Fresh greens – heirloom tomato stack, blue cheese wedge and a superfood bowl
• Sandwiches and burgers – The Big Greasy with a big burger patty topped with grilled white cheddar cheese curds, lettuce, tomatoes, charred onion jam and garlic aioli; chicken Caesar wrap with sliced chicken, chopped romaine, shredded Parmesan and creamy Caesar dressing wrapped in a flour tortilla; and a cauliflower sandwich topping a handmade cauliflower patty with avocado smash, house-made pickled cabbage and Sriracha aioli on a toasted bun
• Big plates – “Mom! Meatloaf! Now!” tops savory meatloaf with house-made Sriracha ketchup and is served with buttery cauliflower mash and cedar plank Scottish salmon is grilled on a cedar plank with chipotle-lime glaze
• Desserts – Key lime pie, triple chocolate cake and banana puddin’
• Several favorites from the Loyal Q menu have been retained including devilish eggs, BBQ nachos and boiled peanuts
Loyal Tavern’s bar menu runs the gamut from handcrafted cocktails, more than 150 bourbons and whiskeys, 32 rotating beers on draft and a selection of wines by the bottle and glass. Several beer and whiskey flights let guests sample a variety. Handcrafted cocktails include:
• Mile High Mule with Breckenridge vodka, lime simple syrup and Fever Tree ginger beer
• Buffalo Trace Manhattan with Buffalo Trace bourbon, sweet vermouth and bitters
• Trip to Key West with Captain Morgan rum, sour mix, sugar and cream
• Jalapeño peach margarita with Herradura Reposado, fresh jalapeños, peach puree agave and lime juice
The restaurant’s spacious dining room is designed to accommodate large parties – including the entire team – and a kids menu and game room make it an ideal place for families and post-game celebrations. Guests can expect to a new, covered outdoor dining and an extensive catering menu, along with online ordering for pickup and delivery.
