TAP: a gastropub has announced the expansion of their restaurant in Concourse A of the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. TAP: a gastropub will be joining other chef-driven eateries such as One Flew South, Varasano’s, Grindhouse Killer Burgers and Ecco.
“TAP has proven to be a very successful, approachable concept that we know will showcase a taste of Atlanta to the international airport visitors. With some classic and some unique dishes, TAP has something for everyone to try. Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson is the busiest airport in the world, so we are thrilled with the visibility this restaurant will receive,” explains Bob Amick, owner and founder of Concentrics Restaurants.
TAP Airport officially opened on June 10, 2014, making this the second of two total TAP locations. The design is made to model the TAP Midtown location.
Signature items will be available such as the Pub Burger (brisket, chuck, American cheese, housemade B&B pickles on an English muffin), Roasted Garlic and Lemon Hummus (cucumbers, Naan bread), Cowgirl Creamery Grilled Cheese Sandwich (paired with tomato bisque), Buttermilk Fried Chicken Taco (Buttermilk Peppercorn Sauce, Corn Relish) and more. TAP Airport will also serve a variety of wines and craft beers along with their signature cocktails such as the Summer Shandy (TAP lemonade, ginger beer, orange flower water, cider beer) and the Badminton Cup (cucumber slice, mint, simple syrup, gin, soda).
