Atlanta-based fast casual franchise Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint has welcomed the newest member of their executive team, Scott Goodrich, Vice President of Field Operations and Support. Goodrich was previously Regional Director of Franchise Operations at Five Guys Burgers and Fries.
As one of the first operational experts hired by the Five Guys Founder and Owner Murrell Family, Goodrich was instrumental in successfully growing the Five Guys’ Brand from 20 stores in early 2005 to over 1,200 stores in 2013 by streamlining operational processes, delivery systems and training procedures. Goodrich’s reputation for developing a “business partner” relationship with his Franchise Business Consultant Team and Franchisees facilitated the development of fastest growing restaurant chain over the past nine years.
Prior to his success at Five Guys, Goodrich spent 10 years managing operations at United Airlines. He worked through the operational ranks as one of the youngest Control Center Managers in the United 5-hub system including supervising the arrival and departure of over 300 aircraft daily.
Uncle Maddio’s has 18 restaurants in six states and will open 34 restaurants in 2014 including new units in Texas, Colorado, Nebraska, North Dakota, Alabama, Virginia, North Carolina and Georgia.
