Jackmont Hospitality and Chef Todd Richards will expand One Flew South in June 2022 from the Atlanta airport to its first standalone location on the BeltLine near DeKalb Avenue. The popular airport location will remain and continue its regular service.
One Flew South on the BeltLine will have the same menu as the airport location, with the possibility of additional menu items in the near future. Current plans include weekday happy hour and dinner service immediately following the opening, then adding weekend brunch a few weeks later.
Chef Phu Dong will lead the sushi side of the menu, and while Chef Richards will oversee all culinary development as part of Jackmont Hospitality, Chef Cedric McCroery will serve as executive chef overseeing the day-to-day operations.
New items on the menu will include:
- Hot drunken chicken & mochi waffle: drunken plum chutney and green tea butter.
- Short ribs “Szechuan style”: coconut fried rice, plantain and kimchi slaw.
- Cauliflower dreaming: scallops, tempura, curry cauliflower puree and pea tendrils.
In addition to the culinary menus, One Flew South’s new location will feature a signature cocktail menu, offering:
- One Flew South: plush plum vodka, yuzu, ume and hakutsuru sake.
- You Only Live Twice: roku gin, haku vodka, lemongrass and italicus.
- Grow A Pear: House infused Asian pear vodka, simple, sparkling and lemon.
The location will seat 120 total people, including 60 interior seats and an impressive 60-person outdoor seating capacity, including 40 seats on the patio facing the BeltLine.
